We Have Moved

In honour of our first home away from home.



But I'm not complaining =) The new place is awesome. Will finally get into shape (excluding round) with the fantastic facilities available. Probably won't be having as many parties since security is so tight... but I'm sure I'll find a way.

It has been almost a year, and I still don't like my student email address. "jia.mok@......"
Though my name is shown as Miss Abigail Mok, most people would still think my name is JIA.

(first name) Abigail + (middle name) Jia Xian + (last name) Mok = Jia Mok.

Like, I specified, right?
So now you know the 'math', here's a real story to show you why I'm not complaining......

The (slightly modified) name is Alfred Ooi Kok Wai.
The scene is during a roll call in his first ever class in uni.

Tutor: James?
James: Yep
Tutor: Christina?
Christina: Here
Tutor: ..... Kok?

Alfred wonders who in the world would be named Cock.

Tutor: Kok?

Alfred looks around to see who the poor fella is, so he can laugh.

Tutor: Kok.... Ooi?

A lightbulb flashes above Alfred's head and everything clicks. He reluctantly raises his hand. Now he wants to die.

Haha!! And that's still the name I use in my mobile's address book!
Remember, Chinese/Korean/Asian/whatever names aren't wrong, they're DIFFERENT. XD
